Developed recently, after the expiration of the patent on

I/R Ultracoolant,

this replacement lubricant utilizes a polyol pentaerythritol (PE) ester with a unique PAG additive system designed to replicate the original product. The PE oil offers life comparable to the I/R Ultracoolant and should be used for higher temperature operations or adverse conditions.

This oil is developed from a unqiue premium blend of polyalkyleneglycol (PAG) and pentaerythritol esters, which together form an exceptional coolant and act to reduce oxidation and deposit formation. These coolants offer excellent heat transfer properties, long life, high flash point, low evaporation, low volatility, and excellent hydrolytic stability. They do not form varnish deposits like petroleum or PAO oils. This Ingersoll Rand SSR Ultra Collant replacement we offered gives the equivalent service life of 8,000 hours in rotary screw compressors.
