ZAROX OYN 4 is a non-flammable, colourless and odourless perfluoroalkylpolyether- type oil. 
It is totally inert physically and chemically in the event of
aggression by all kinds of liquid or gaseous products (except for fluorinated
solvents) and thermal and ionising radiation.
  • ZAROX OYN 4 was developed for use in applications where a wide operating
temperature range, low friction, non-flammability, and compatibility with other
materials is required.
  • ZAROX OYN 4 is essentially inert and non toxic, it is safe to use with all metals,
plastics, leather, elastomers and seal materials.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
  • ZAROX OYN 4 is suitable for the lubrication of all bearings, sliding bearings or
joints subjected to extreme temperatures or to aggressive conditions capable of
altering conventional lubricants.
  • ZAROX OYN 4 is ideal for applications on Automotive interior trim where long life and excellent lubricity (a low coefficient of friction) are required. The residual fluid when applied also offers excellent ‘anti-squeak’ performance, compatibility with substrates and durability in use.
  • The product can also be used as a slip coating for weather-strip and sealing systems, glass channels, sunroof and door seals
  • This ZAROX product is ideal for use in applications where a large number of small components require the application of a thin film of ‘low friction’, virtually invisible fluid. Bushes, ‘o’- rings, grommets, pivot pins, hinges & springs can all benefit from a coating of this special PFPE fluid. Application can be either manual or automated by wiping, spraying or dipping of the components.

Perfluorinated polyether (PFPE) Oil

PFPE oils are synthetic oils which are only composed of carbon (C), fluorine (F) and oxygen atoms (O). The existing C-O and C-F bonds are highly stable.

For this reason PFPE oils are practically inert against all chemical and oxidising influences and have a high thermal stability.
Perfluorinated polyethers are used when pumping strongly reactive or oxidizing substances like oxygen, ozone or nitrogen oxides as well as reactive substances like halogens or hydrogen halide.
